French President Nicolas Sarkozy Sunday said the top Value Added Tax rate would increase to 21.2% Oct. 1, from 19.6%, to fund a decrease in pay-roll taxes on the lowest salaries.

    法国总统萨科齐周日称，从10月1日起，增值税的最高税率将由19.6%上调至21.2%，以弥补最低收入人群工资税下调所带来的影响。
